Measuring only 10 km wide, carefully packed in 20 districts, each with their own charm and individual character, bursting with a myriad of wonders to explore.
Paris is the place where your senses are awakened; sites in a big city and well designed, the soft purr of the Parisians in a cafe, or the lively buzz of market vendors, as they boast their products, the smell of freshly baked bread, which comes from the bakery, tasting the abundant, delicious food on offer, and feel .... when, Paris the city of love, enters your heart.

With a discovery to be had in every nook and corner and a surprise around every corner, Paris never ceases to amaze and surprise me.
When I first went in 1980, I left a little disappointed, the French had the reputation of being rude and arrogant, the city was dirty and I could not do what all the fuss is about.
30 years later, pointing to about 25 visits since, I am completely captivated by the magic and charm of the city. The more I know, the less I think I know.

The long sweeping boulevards, tiny cobbled streets, architecture, two small islands at its heart, with 37 bridges to transport you from the right to the left bank of the Seine, so much to explore!
Paris oozes style and so is its people. Quiet, cultured, refined, humble, sophisticated, a very modest way.
